Last I read a tome like was almost two years ago. That was also from King, IT. That story was okay-ish, but a bit too long. Let's hope this time it's different.

A few of the stories are pretty good, but it's a bit too rambly, more so than other King's works. On hold for now.

Donut is getting kinda annoying. Yes, yes, she's technically a child and all, but there's little to no character progression of her over the series.

This book started out well, but it took a nosedive from the midpoint mark. The constant juggling of all the train lines, stations, platforms wasn't what I'd consider a fun experience. Even the author seems to know this when he mentions there's no point in trying to make sense of this mess. Regardless, the book was okay enough to not throw it in DNF. The audiobook performance by Jeff Hays is phenomenal as usual.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Definitely will continue the series.

Anne was downright insufferable! Also, the book seemed to go nowhere. I listened through a bit over half the audiobook and I gave up. The performance from Zoe Kazan as Anne was great though; in the same way Cersei was great in Game of Thrones.
